So what do you all think of this as a setup for the parts models. Solid legs, three poses on arms, and torso. I was considering going further but that IMHO looks to be more of a hassle than a benefit. Legs would be harder to line up so they stand right and arms being small I figured just give more poses to them.
Also, some mech designs just don’t lend themselves as well to that kind of flexibility simply because of their shape.
Anyway, let me know in the comments
Personally, I don’t mind the lack of modularity. You offer a number of poses to both subscriptions, and the mechs are easy to support when whole. It’s less trouble to assemble without the modularity. Maybe offer both options for folks who don’t want to have to fiddle with posing?
I am going to continue offering fully posed, that will stay the mech jock level. Lance Leader and Company Commander will get the parts version as well as the Mech Jock version.
Don’t go any farther otherwise they become a nightmare to glue and stay together. You will run into the same issues as the Robotech Kickstarter had with its Valkyries that had 9000 little pieces that get dropped and lost.
Yep, and that would not be an added value at all. That’s more of a rage quit situation
Yes, the small number of additional poses might be great, but I’m frankly quite happy with the existing things as they are now… But whatever works will be great. And of course having built a lot of models with small fiddly bits, not something I am really looking forward to doing…
Similar to Locust Labs approach. Easy to build with a good amount of variety.
