What to Make

I was going to do a Gabriel because I thought it would be unique enough, but it turns out that Sturmhold already did one that is pretty awesome, so I need to think of something else. This is where you all come in with a new poll.

Tell me what style and then we can get into what vehicle.

Packrat Delay

Hey guys, I am sorry to say that I have a delay on the packrat. I was exporting everything and doing cleanups when I saw that the wheels came out like this.

So, I amd fixing it and all the wheels on the Mech Jock and Lance Leader files. Then I will need to re-export and then do the supports.

On the bright side, once I have the wheel model set I can use it in future models, so I know it’s frustrating on your side, and doubly so on mine, but it will help in the future for new things.

Update

Much Better

Packrat Update

I’ve got three basic body styles finished as you can see. The wheels are separate to make it easier to paint so they insert into post holes on the body. Two of the models have mounts on the front, those are for the SRM 2, 4, and 6 you see up there.

Now it is on to making all of the weapons/ equipment pieces that can go onto the rear mount area. So I’ll be working on that today.

Tomorrow, way too early, I’ll be flying out to North Carolina and I’ll be back Wednesday evening. So from Thursday on I’ll be working to finish this one up.

As always, thank you for all the support. It means more than I can ever express.

The Devil You Say!

It’s finally done. I am sincerely sorry this one took so long to get out. Combination of health and life just got in the way. I am going to be out of town next week until Wednesday but I have started on the Swordsman and I think my new workflow will help speed things up a bit.

As far as the Akuma goes, I love how this one looks. The face, the arms, all of it. It just really came together. Yes, it is a redo from the original model but I think this one is cleaner and better put together.

Hope you all like it, and once again I am extremely grateful for the support.

Already a New Month

I had hoped to get this model out two weeks ago, but life got in the way and, according to my nurses, no I cannot leave the hospital for a few hours to get some work done.

Really unfair if you ask me. The programs on the TV were crap so I finished a few books instead (see previous post for the first one).

Anyway, now that the whole situation is behind me for now (still have follow up appointments in the future) it is back to getting some stuff done. First is the above mentioned model of the Akuma. Updated a bit and made a Mech Jock and Lance Leader version of it so that is coming out very soon. Also working on the Swordsman as the next model as well as working on a vehicle model that is too be decided.

Thank you all again for the support. It’s amazing how much things can change in a week. But God is good and I have been fortunate.
