Bandersnatch

So is this looking Bandersnatchy enough? Still have legs to make.

I would have gotten further but I had to replace the windshield wiper fluid hose on my wife’s car and replace the drain fittings on both of our bathtubs as well as swapping out the shower fittings with new stuff.

The shower upgrades came about because I noticed the one in our bathroom was starting to drip and since we wanted to change them out from the builder’s grade stainless to a better unit and oil rubbed bronze this seemed as good a time as any. So, no more dripping, and wasting, water. they look nicer, and my wife is very happy.

Test Tube Babies from Beyond the Stars!

So who has picked up MW5 Clans and what do you think of it? I have not grabbed it yet since I really wouldn’t have time to play it right now anyway so I might as well wait until I do have time or there is a sale.

I’ve read mixed opinions on it so far. One person said the Mech models were worse than they were in MW4 and another stated that there was a bug in one of the missions that he couldn’t get past. Other reviews were praising it for the gameplay, graphics and overall storyline.

I’ve never really been a fan of the Clans overall. Mercenaries was good for me because I could choose what missions I wanted, go where I wanted and die from my own stupidity. Seems that being Clans would lock you into the military of just following where you are told to go, but you tell me if you like it or not.

Anyway, here’s a picture of the Bandersnatch so far. Going to try to have it done this weekend. The week was pretty busy being in office and the client pass over training and meetings.

Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Promotions, Oh My!

Lot of stuff going on starting tomorrow. First off, it is my birthday and I also start my new position at work and begin the process of moving on my new client and getting all my accesses set up so I can pull their files.

Also, the 7th is my youngest daughter’s birthday followed on the 8th by my 19th wedding anniversary.

All that is to say that I will be taking a bit of down time through then to give all these things the proper attention they deserve. Then it will be on to the remaining Longbows and the Bandersnatch.

Updates from the Real World

So, updates. The longbow is being finished up. Just working out the launchers and the magnets for them. After that it will be posing and posting up.

Yesterday my wife called me and said that her car would not start so I went down and her battery would not hold a charge at all so I got a new one, put it in and everything looked fine. Engine charge light went out and everything. This morning decided to take it out around the block to double check and the engine charge light went on so now it looks like the alternator went bad as well. Going to have to get a new one and my nephew-in-law is going to help me get it swapped out.

Moving into a different roll at work at the end of the month, which is great, but it also going to be more responsibility and challenges. It will also be my birthday at that time so I’m going to take that week to not only get into the new roll, but also fix cars, finish a commission that is almost done, and maybe (maybe) decompress just a little bit.

I’ll be coming back strong though with first the TBolt 7 series and then the Bandersnatch.

So, lots of good news and bad news right now. That’s the way life goes. I hope you all have more good news going on than bad.

Launcher Shape

So what shape should I make the 0 series missile launcher? Round, or whatever the heck that other shape is?I feel the odd shape fits a bit better with the square frame and shape of the 0 series and then it gets refined with the next series into the round shape we all know. But […]
