Old and Busted

Matthew and I put up new garage lights yesterday. The old ones were the kind of ugly that I think the builder was paid to take them.

When we took them off first thing I noticed was there was no gasket or silicone around the fixture to keep water out – such quality building – and once we had them off we spent about ten minutes cleaning out the cobwebs and spider nests from inside the fixture.

New fixture are now up and properly sealed. Matthew did most of the work and I just guided him to make sure he didn’t have any problems.

So, old and busted. New hotness

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me through this year and the years before as well! I am stunned and humbled by the fact that I have fans around the world. I am not as big as some of the other modelers out there and I am good with that, but I never expected to be this successful.

So wherever you are in the world I hope and pray that the new year lightens your burdens, brings hope to your heart, and more stompy robots to add to your pile of shame 😀

Longbow Correction

A few poses were missed when I put the folders together. That has been corrected.

I will also admit that I did not run these through 3D builder as I normally do for cleanup. I just plain forgot so I will do one more update this weekend with that.

Longbow – Final Steps

Hey everyone! I am now in the final steps for this build. The 13 and 14 variants have launcher doors on them so I have made those models so you can use magnets to attach whatever version of launcher you want to your mech.

The reason this is taking so long is, and I didn’t realize it when I was building, there are ten variants in this batch and six of them have swappable missile pods. So I do apologize for the delay but I am on the home stretch to deliver.

Sick

Well, the tax deductible petri dishes that are my children decided to share whatever bug they had with me. Thursday afternoon I started feeling sick and then I woke up this morning to 100% FML fever.

I’m still trying to get the legs done on the 12 series and get it all out by Sunday, but I am running slower that normal because of this.

Hope everyone else isn’t dealing with whatever crud seems to be flying around.

Longbow Weekend

I really didn’t like the legs on the 12 variant so I pulled them off and restarted. Because of this I expect to have the final models finished and released by Sunday.

I am sorry for the delay, but looking at those legs I just couldn’t go with it.

Reworked the 13/14 version a bit. Now I have to go back to the 10 and 12 versions to add some more details to bring them up to the same level.

So I will do the variants on this one, update the 10 and 12 over the weekend and try to get them posed to release next week. Sorry for the delay but I really can’t look at the other ones next to this one and feel happy with it.

Longbow

OK, I just realized that I have been working and not posting. Sorry, I am really an introvert so this social media thing (even after all these years) still throws me a bit. Peopling is hard!

Anyway, I am finishing up the Longbows. Yep. 10, 12, 13, and 14 are on the way. Finishing the base for the 13/14 right now and planning on having it out by the weekend.

So, in order, the first one is the 10, second is the 12 and last one is the 13/14

On a side note, I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it that is) and you should have something to print by Sunday.
