Hermes II

Finally finished! Got the flu and man that threw things waaay off track, but it is now done and released.

Trying to get the Hermes finished up for next weekend, but we will see how that goes, the head is giving me trouble because I just don’t like it at all.

Anyway! Happy printing!!!

Quarterly Bonus

Here’s something to chew over and think about. It was suggested to me that there should be a bonus figure or model for those that have been with me for more than three months as a loyalty reward, and I thought that was a really good idea. So I started thinking that I could do […]

Sick

Good evening everyone. I am sure you can see the Hermes and Hermes II are not out yet like I had planned.

I spent yesterday and today being sick. Fever, chills, felt like I needed to throw up, all the good stuff. So that put getting the Hermes II posing and images behind, which then put the Hermes modeling behind (also, I am still trying to figure out how I want to do the head on that one)

So the Hermes II should be out in a few days since all that is left is the remaining poses and then image renders.

Hope all of you don’t get whatever it was I have. It kinda sucks.

Hermes

With the Hermes II finished and being posed, it’s time to take on the Hermes. So for your enjoyment, here’s where it is so far.

Personally, I love how the chest has come out and the back is looking really nice. The arms and legs should go fast as well. The hardest part is going to be the head so it doesn’t look like Gundam, Master Chief, or a motorcycle helmet.

But, I should have it done by end of the week.

I got a question about my Hermes II mech which caused me to pull it up and take a look at it. I did it back in 2022 when I was first getting back into modeling (I had been out of it for about 15 years and had not used Blender before).

Needless to say my first thought was “Geez, I can do a heck of a lot better on that model” so I am. Started on it Thursday and I am now finishing all the variants for the Hermes II. After that is going to be the Hermes and all the ones with that.

So, New Year and Old (as well as new) mechs are on the way

Happy New Year!

I sincerely hope this new year sees an improvement in everyone’s lives. I hope that whatever goals you are striving for you reach and whatever dreams you have you can achieve.

For me, last year saw a huge change. I went from being a Team Leader to an Operations Delivery Leader. I was in charge of a group of 20 phone reps: training them, monitoring them, and coaching them to move forward to new positions (and higher pay).  Now I am working directly with clients and have the responsibility of making sure thing are done right for not only the client’s employees, but our own.

It was not something I expected, but I jumped at the opportunity.  I hope for everyone that this year is like that – full of unexpected opportunities that turn out so much better than you anticipated.

Happy New Year!
