Finalizing Pieces

On the final steps of the Gallowglas. Was in office all week last week and had more work there which meant I got less work done here. So I apologize for that. But, I think this looks really good and gives a much better look than the original drawing IMHO.

working on this to try and finish it this weekend. Also working on the Catapult as well so that might be done next week.

I’m wanting it to be a big, heavy looking mech with thick armor slabs. Something that kind has the same feel as a Hunchback. You know, something that looks like it will chew you up and spit out scrap. I’m not sticking too close to the drawing for the simple fact that I really don’t like it at all.

So, hopefully you’ll like my take on it.

Memorial Day

Want to wish all of you a peaceful Memorial Day. Today I remember my father who fought in Korea as part of Navy UDT.

One story he would tell (one of the very few he would tell about the war) was how he and a buddy were on leave and decided to head south to have some fun. Since they didn’t have any transportation they found an Army jeep and liberated it from where it was parked.

When they got back from causing trouble they were, of course, arrested and were set to be court martialed for it but, as luck would have it, they needed his team for a mission to blow up a bridge in North Korean territory so they ‘postponed’ the court martial so he could go on the mission. When he got back they “forgot” to follow up on it.

Dad was a sailor, a demolitions expert, a trained investigator, boxer, police officer, private eye, truck driver, security expert, father, grandfather, and cowboy.

Miss you dad.

FINALLY!!!

When I got it in February they had designed it with only four thin post to hold the projector and those all snapped during shipping.

Took forever to get the brackets they made to replace the post mounts, then I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t project an image. finally took off the front plate and found where one of the ribbon cables had pulled out when the projector has broken off it’s mounts.

But finally, it is working. Time to do some test prints

Stormbringer

The remolded Stormbringer is out and ready for download. This is a home brew mech, for those who have not seen it before. MegaMek and PDF files are included in the file along with bases, as you would expect.

There is one issue I am running into now on the website (which I will work on this weekend) with the Featured Products page not displaying properly. So right now it is not showing the mech jock version. For that you will need to search it out, but it is there, and it is free to members.
