PayPal And Subscriptions – Part II

Think we got it figured out about the recurring payment issue when using paypal.

PayPal has to have a vault setup on their side to enable capturing to do recurring payments, While I had a business account already set up with them, it had to have some other features activated. So, if you are signing up and want to do a subscription with PayPal, it should go through now.

If it doesn’t, please notify me so I can go through it again.

Paypal and Subscriptions

There seems to be something going on with Paypal and setting up a subscription.

Paypal is one of the services that is supposed to allow recurring payments but for some reason I have been told that people are getting errors when trying to do it through there. I am looking into it.

For now, the other payment methods I use are WooCommerce (which goes through Stripe) and Stripe directly. I will go over this and get some support help to figure it out.

****UPDATE****

I am dumb. I have taken STRIPE out of Sandbox mode *headdesk* so that should work fine on subscriptions. As far as Paypal, I am reaching out for support.

How is it going?

Anyone having any problems, questions, comments?

Honestly, this is a big step into some (somewhat) unknown territory. Last time I had a WooCommerce site was years ago and while I tested and I’m pretty sure everything is set correctly, I’m human and could have missed things. That, and WordPress and WooCommerce have made LOTS of changes since I last used them.

So, if you see anything that you aren’t sure about or have questions on, leave a comment, send me an email. I am pretty OCD about getting things right.

New Site, New Toys!!!

Hello and welcome to the new site. This will function in much the way that the Patreon and Gumroad did in that you can still support me by subscribing (the button is to the right) and it will allow me to keeps making stuff that you (hopefully) like.

Also, to the right you can see the black king with the “featured items” label. This is where you can go to download the current monthly models. As a member it will automatically discount that for you to zero. Your support will also give you an automatic 40% discount in the store for anything you might not have been around for when it was released.

I’ve also changed the subscriptions a bit. The Lance Member is now called the “Mech Jock” and you still get the mech and variants of the month. The Company Commander is the same as well. It is Lance Leader where I have made the big change. Now, with Lance Leader there are going to be extra pose packs that you will get with the monthly. These will be a separate download from the regular monthly and will show up in the featured items section.

Why move over? Because I am a control freak when it comes to my stuff and I wanted to make it as easy as possible for you all to get the models, be able to download them again if something tragic happens like, oh… a hard drive crashing like the Hindenburg for example.

Hopefully, everything will work perfectly from the get go, but if there are any issues at all please contact me and I will take care of it for you.
