I’ve started a side project that I’ll work on a bit at a time. It’s going to be a diorama that will involve sculpting (as in actual clay and tools) 3d printing, maybe some LED lights and lots of paint. It’s going to be a mech battle from my merc unit from YEARS ago I am calling “Last Stand of the Black Kings”

So, if it goes the way I see it in my head there will be rubble, fallen mechs, smoke, fire and one lone lance standing against unseen odds. We will see if I can make it reality. Starting the process is rebuilding one of the models – the Stormbringer.

My original model was pretty good, but that was then and this is now, so pretty good needs to be a whole lot better.

Delays

Hey everyone.  Sorry about the delay on getting the Enfield done.  Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE got sick this weekend.

I ended up sleeping for 15 hours and managed to kick it, but the wife and kids are still struggling through.  I am working on the poses now and hoping to have it out tomorrow for you.

Good morning!  Finishing up the Enfield this week I think, along with the Sabutai.  All that I have on the Sabutai is the weapons pods and how that is going to work.  So while the Enfield will probably be this weekend, the Sabutai will be next week.  

Also, working on the bases as well and doing the Clans as part of it.  I’ll be releasing those as sets and also individually.  Individually it will be $1.00 and the sets, for like the six houses would be $5, so obviously a better deal in the set.  if you have a merc unit and you want your logo on a base, let me know.  The price on that is $25 and I can generally finish them  in around an hour or two.  

PLUS!!!  If that isn’t enough, I am starting a new class for project management as part of my career development work.  So that will be three months of fun.  What is everyone else up to with Spring in the air?
