HER Hermes

built for the SDLF by Irian Battlemechs Unlimited, the Hermes was designed to be a heavy scouting mech but with the rushed nature of all things government, it came out with a number of issues that the decision was to try and correct once it was deployed.   While it was one of the fastest mechs of it’s time with a top speed of 151 kph, it was badly under armed to make room for the larger engine so it only had two medium lasers and a flamer which made it very unpopular with mech pilots.
