The Maelstrom was designed to carry on the reputation and lineage of the Marauder but to also bring it forward with new concepts, technology and equipment. But with the collapse of the Star League the plans never made it past the design stage. It was with the recovery of the Helm Memory Core that the plans were rediscovered and the Maelstrom and finally began to see production just in time to fight against the decedents of the SDLF that it was designed to serve.

The model is largely excellent, but the feet in particular aren’t loading properly. the toes are fine, but the pads they connect to are loading in black and not registering when attempting to print, I have made 2 so far and both the feet are just missing.
